My preferred shin guard of all I ownJun 18, 2010
By J. Page These shin guards look small but are the same size as conventional shin guards. I have several different pairs and I wouldn't have believed these were big enough but they are. They are light weight and don't have uncomfortable straps. They are great to wear in hot weather because of the lack of extra material for binding them to the leg. They come with a special shin sleeve. The both of them make the shin guard easy to put on and take off. I don't have to put the shin guards on well before the game. I can do it after I've warmed up. I plan to buy another backup pair soon.

Adequate protection, a little smallJul 18, 2009

It's a little deceptive, they are individually packaged, and who needs only one shin guard? Would you be playing soccer if you only had one shin? For the low price, they are adequate, but they are a little small and short.

A cheap, light and sturdy solutionSep 09, 2009
By Alim I have been using these guards for a year. They come with one pair of sleeves. I am 6'1'' height and XL fits good to me, L was kind of tight for me. Sleeves are in white color, it gets dirty easily but I did not see any grass stain on them after washing. They don't move with the sleeves but if you use it just under the socks it may be dangerous for you. So, if you plan to use it sleeveless than I would recommend something with tapes on sides. Since I don't feel comfortable with the side tapes I preferred these ones. A cheap, light and sturdy solution. If you don't like the guards with the tapes and want to use it under the socks you can buy a softer tape to fasten them to your shins.

By Carla J. Mendenhall My son loves these shin guards. They are very light weight and I've washed them several times now and they still look like new.
