Best hinged knee brace I've ever hadMar 08, 2008
By Binsu I've had ACL and meniscus problems for about 18 years and have worn many braces. This is the best hinged brace I've used. I use it for martial arts (striking and grappling) about 5-6x/wk.
Freedom of movement is excellent. I feel virtually no restriction as I kick, plant, pivot, grapple, etc. The HydraCinn material allows your skin to breathe and so your knees don't get so sweaty. It really does what it purports to do. Moisture is wicked away and the anti-microbial aspect keeps it as clean smelling as possible. It's also easy to wash by hand and drys quickly.
I've had mine for seven months, washing it by hand or machine almost daily. It's still in excellent condition.
The only problem I've had is that due to the rough and tumble nature of martial arts, the material covering the hinges has worn away somewhat and I've had to tape it up.
I'll be using only this brace until technology gets better. The price may be higher than the average brace but it's well worth it.

Great Knee BraceApr 03, 2008

Just got it yesterday and played with it yesterday. i play basketball, and i've Torned my acl and meniscus in 2003. So as you can see, a knee brace is a must for me. For The price this knee brace is GREAT! The one thing i really like about this knee brace is the fit; very tight grip and barely even slipped while i played 3 5 0n 5 games yesterday. It Really Doesnt Slip! The only bad thing i've got to say about this product is that within one day, the logo in the knee brace that says "Hg80" fell of, they should use better glue i guess. But like i said, For the Price you cant get better than this.

Great Brace for the PriceAug 23, 2007

Without going into the hundreds of dollars you'd pay for the really high end knee braces, I honestly think this is the best you're going to get. It gives good support, and isn't horribly uncomfortable to wear at all. The larger sizes seem to be a little harder to come by for guys with "tree trunk legs" like me, but after some shimmying, grunting and pulling I can get it on. Who knows, that's probably why I get such good support from the thing.
I've had knee issues for years (three arthroscopies, one ACL replacement, and currently a torn meniscus), and this brace is the best I've found.

Great productOct 06, 2008
By Sumtruck I've had this product for a few weeks now and I have nothing but good things to say about it. I had full reconstructive surgery on my left knee a few years ago and have been through brace after brace. I'm in the Marine Trades so I'm walking, standing, kneeling, squating and just a wide range of motion and this brace makes it all simple. No pain, no tension and full support.

Friends say "best knee brace ever" but XL too tight to slip over my calves!Oct 02, 2011
By Quality Control This brace does not open up - it must be slipped over the foot and up to the knee. I'm really disappointed to find that the largest HG-80 knee brace Mueller makes, the size XL, is not even wide enough to slip over my 17 1/2 inch (44.5 cm) calves. I'm a 6' 4" tall athlete who wears size XL shirts, sweaters, and coats - and my leg muscles are about average for my size. Mueller really ought to think about offering a 2XL and maybe even a 3XL. Most people with knee problems are either athletes or overweight and these limited sizes will eliminate LOTS of those people. Apparently both would require a much larger brace than the size XL.
