Perfect for U6 PracticeAug 29, 2009
By Nancy Carrier These are a MUST HAVE for coaching. My husband and I coach a U6 team and needed portable goals for practice. I bought this particular set based on customer reviews. We've used them now for 3 practices. The goals are easy to set up, easy to take down and easy to transport. One goal is enough for most U6 practice games, but having two allows us to set up the field for scrimmage or competitive practice games.
The quality is good. It was a nice surprise that the pegs are attached to the goal. No lost pegs!
I gave it a 4 star rating instead of 5 because of cost. Recreational soccer coaching is all volunteer, including cost of supplies. It was a lot to fork out for a first time coach. I'm glad I did - practice is much better with a goal.

Great goals for coachingNov 17, 2010
By Brian Doherty I purchased these goals for my sons U6 AYSO team that I coached. They are very easy to set up and take down. They are also very durable and can handle a bunch of 5 and 6 year old boys jumping all over them.

Soccer goalsSep 22, 2010

"Dang"
Great goals, just a bit too small. these are great for practices with a kids soccer team or for fun games in the yard. For a team, they are a bit too small and the next size would probably be better, but all in all, these are great. Solid, secure and they live up to expectations.

Just do it! Spend the $Mar 11, 2009
By Cynthia I orginally bought a cheap $20 fold up soccer goal but you get what you paid for. I decided to return that one and just spend the $ to buy the 4' set. These are much better quality. So easy to fold & fit into the bag. Also easy to set up. the Set came w/ some extra parts like pegs & stuff. I only wish that the bag had a little extra pocket so I can keep it there. But yeah this is the best out there.
Super portable, lightweight soccer goalsDec 05, 2011
By Derick R. Peterson I picked up a set of these to begin to encourage my 4-year-old son to start kicking the soccer ball around in our back yard this fall (and next spring), and they did that job perfectly. I went for these 4-footers since I figured they are small enough that we could consider using them in the basement this winter, yet they're not so tiny as the 2.5-foot size, which seem quite small to me. The 6-foot size is surely great, too, but I didn't think we needed those at my son's age, and I also figured there's an advantage to learning to aim at a somewhat smaller target. So the 4-footers seem just right for now, and I'm totally satisfied with my purchase. The included plastic stakes keep them in place well, even when we left them out overnight in somewhat of a windy storm. Folding them for storage takes a little getting used to, but it's not nearly as difficult as the maneuvers necessary for our chilren's cabana tent, so I couldn't take any stars off on that account.
